You’ve asked, you’ve waited, and now we’re happy to share: Room Theming is here for everyone! In addition to improvements to our video play experience, anyone can now customize their game rooms to look and feel exactly the way they wish.

Room Theming

Customize the background art, interface, and player colors across all of your game rooms! Access the new room theme options from within the Room Settings modal in the top left corner of the room.

Video Improvements

We’ve upgraded the performance and layout of our video play experience! Video tiles are now square, and should provide more responsive layouts for large groups and smaller screens. We’ve also added Speaker View, allowing you to highlight who’s talking.

We’re so excited to see what unique rooms and game experiences you dream up on Role. As always…
