“This week we’re thinking about stories that rock! Yes, you heard that right: heavy metal fantasy worlds, big hair and bigger swords, starships that roar with the screech of electric guitars. After all, isn’t a rock band just one big adventuring party? We love music here at Role, and just like a good concept album we love an epic story. So turn up your microphone, grab your loudest gear, and light up your imagination with a rebel yell. This week…

You can rock with us.”

Speaking of Coheed and Cambria…One great joy as a TTRPG player is connecting with other role playing fans. This week we learned that Coheed and Cambria are TTRPG fans too! In this captivating Kotaku Article, the lead singer, Claudio Sanchez says he would jump at the opportunity to make an Amory Wars tabletop or pen-and-paper game. “That’s something I’d love to do, is create a game like that that will allow the fans to connect with each other, even without the band as that bridge,”

So, if you’re reading this: Coheed and Cambria, we want to make a game with you!
