“Hello Role Players, and welcome to our second Weekly Encounter newsletter!

This week is Thanksgiving week in the USA, a time for gathering, community, and gratitude. Here at Role, we find ourselves reflecting on ways to honor and give thanks to the native communities here and everywhere. The first peoples of the world are also the progenitors of our first stories, deserving recognition and space to tell their stories today and always. The growing diversity of the role playing genre is one such space to explore these living histories – and we’re excited to highlight a few for you today. Wherever you are, we hope you’re gathered in joy and connection with your community, dreaming up new tales of adventure together. As always…

You can play with us.

This week we’re highlighting some great games from indigenous creators throughout the RPG community. We’re also sharing some great community resources related to BIPOC identities in gaming.
