More than 5 years ago, we launched the first generation of Role on iOS! In that time, we’ve seen our community grow to over 100,000 players worldwide. We couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who has shared their adventures with us over the years.
Even as we’re working hard on our new platform, we haven’t forgotten our roots. This month, we’re releasing a substantial update to our original app – with support for the newest devices, quality of life features, and opening our favorite tools to everyone. Role for iOS is now Role Classic, and you can play it today!
What’s New?
For starters, the features that were once “Role Plus” are now available freely for everyone! That means no more ads, as well as free saving & loading of all your characters and adventures.
Additionally, we’ve made a series of interface improvements intended to make navigating critical information easier. Notes sections are now sorted into categories, and tabs allow players to swap between their adventure and their characters on the fly.
